Inverpolly panorama, Assynt, Scotland

Inverpolly panorama, Assynt, Scotland

The walk up Stac Pollaidh is not difficult, taking about an hour or so. This was shot from the summit as the visibility cleared, only to disappear completely again when I found myself surrounded in cloud. The view from the summit is amongst the best of all the Scottish mountains - well worth the effort. This is looking north - on the left is Suilven, with Cul More to the right, and numerous lochans.
