Gasadalur and Mulafossur waterfal (colour), Faroe Islands
Gasadalur and Mulafossur waterfal (colour), Faroe Islands

The village of Gasadalur was until 2004 largely cut off from the rest of the islands of the Faroes. The only way in and out was via a mountain pass, or by sea; a tunnel was constructed in 2004, and it is now possible to drive to and from the other major islands. The Mulafossur waterfall makes for a stunning setting for this village.

This shot was taken in early winter, when I was blasted by snow showers in between shots.
